Democrats Dishonest Assertions that They Are Abiding by the US Constitution

The Democrats sanctimoniously claim that they are using the US Constitution to guide them in their impeachment inquiry of President Trump.  Recently, Rep. Al Green (a Texas Democrat) made the ridiculous assertion on MSNBC:  “I’m concerned that if we don’t impeach this president, he will get re-elected … the president does not have to commit a crime to be impeached …,”.   It is not the job of the US House of Representatives to overturn the election of the President. That is the job of the electorate, at election time.

Back in September 2017, I posted: Hillary Clinton - The Threat to Democracy. I previously wrote: "Hillary Clinton, expecting to win the 2016 US presidential election, smugly with an air of moral superiority arrogantly proclaimed that challenging the validity of the election results would be a threat to democracy." Challenging the election results is exactly what Green and the Democrats are attempting to do through an impeachment process that  degenerates into a kangaroo court for purposes of overturning an election. The Democrats are still pursing the strategy of: “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime” (Lavrentiy Beria). Facts. due process, and abiding by the US Constitution do not matter to the Democrats.
